How to claim your rental page on upemis.lt and manage its data at any time.
Many kayak rentals appear in the upemis.lt directory before they ever create an account — we build the page ourselves from publicly available information so that travellers can find you. You can claim such a page and manage it yourself from then on: prices, fleet, routes and contact details, changed whenever you like, with nobody in between.
This page explains how.
A page goes to whoever proves they control the rental's contact email address — the one shown on your page. So the whole process is three steps and takes a few minutes.
Register as usual, with an email address and password or through Google. If you already have an account, simply sign in.
Your account settings (Account → Settings) contain a list of email addresses. We send a link to every address you add; clicking it confirms that the address really is yours.
Worth knowing: you can attach several addresses to one account. That matters when you sign in with a personal address while your rental page lists a business one — add the business address as a second entry and confirm it. An account can hold up to five addresses.
If a confirmed address matches the rental's contact address, the rental appears on your account page under “We found your rental”. You can also go straight to your rental's page and press “Claim this rental”.
When the addresses match, the rental is assigned to you immediately — there is nothing to wait for. We will email you to confirm it.
This happens when the page lists, say, an old or shared company address you no longer use. In that case fill in the form on the same page and briefly describe your connection to the rental. A person reviews the request — we normally get in touch by phone or email, and assign the rental to you once we have confirmed it.
Once the page is yours, all of its content is managed from your dashboard. Nothing is locked: changes appear immediately, and you no longer need to ask us for corrections.
You may list several contact phone numbers. The first one is the primary: it is the number travellers see and the one used in emails, so you can reorder the list by dragging the rows.
Because a page is assigned automatically, it is worth knowing where the limits are.
If you receive an email asking you to confirm an address you did not add yourself, please tell us at info@upemis.lt.
Then we have not added it yet. Create an account, choose “Become a rental provider” and fill in your details — you can build the page yourself in a few minutes.
