Tai didžiausias Šalčios intakas. Jis teka per Rūdninkų girią. Nuotėkio svyravimai nežymūs. Kelionę galite pradėti ties Kidarų geležinkelio stotele (Lydos kryptis), nuo kurios iki upės — apie 2 km.
Iš pradžių upė smarkiai vingiuoja. Kliūtys: nuvirtę medžiai, užvartos, keletas žemų lieptų bei tiltelių. Gylio plaukti pakanka. Maršrutas tinka savaitgalio poilsio žygiams.
