About kayaking on Šešuviu:
Tai didžiausias Jūros intakas. Jo ištakos Kelmės rajone. Baseino ežerų beveik nėra, nuotėkis per metus smarkiai svyruoja. Jį papildo dideli (Šešuvies atžvilgiu) intakai — Ančia ir Šaltuona. Pavasarį būna smarkių upės potvynių.
Didžiausias Šešuvies aukštupio (nuo versmių iki 88 km) nuolydis — arti 3 m/km. Toliau į upę tolydžio plūstant intakų vandenims, nuolydis palengva mažėja ir žemupyje siekia 0,2 m/km.
Kelionę Šešuvimi, kai vanduo pakyla, galima pradėti prie Žemaičių plento tilto. Sausesniu metu — žemiau Ančios arba Šaltuonos žiočių.
