About kayaking on Vilnele/Vilnia:
Vilnios pradžia Medininkų aukštumoje, kur yra aukščiausias Lietuvos taškas — Aukštojas (294 m). Kadangi Vilnios baseine nėra didesnių drėgmės akumuliatorių, upės nuotėkis per metus smarkiai svyruoja.
Vidurupyje, kur Vilnios nuolydis nėra didelis, tėkmė negreita, gylio pakanka plaukti visais laikotarpiais. Žemupyje nuolydis padidėja, vagoje daug akmenuotų rėvų. Sausmečiais čia keliauti per seklu. Dažnesnės kliūtys — jėgainių užtvankos, rėvos, akmenys. Vilnia įteka į Nerį sostinės centre.
Kelionę galima pradėti aukštupyje, nuo Vilnios ir Kenos santakos. Maršrutas rekomenduotinas pradinį patyrimą turintiems vandens turistams.
