Getting started

Booking takes a few minutes. You do not need an account: we collect your name, email address and phone number at the payment step. An account is useful later — when you want to review or cancel a reservation.

1. Find a route

Open the route list. You can filter routes by region, difficulty, length and operator, and sort them by length, difficulty or duration. If you already know the river, start from the river list.

The route page has a description, photos, instructions and the meeting point. For how to read the catalogue, see Rivers and routes.

2. Pick a date and time

The route calendar shows the days on which the operator still has places available. Once you pick a date you will see booking slots — time intervals in steps of 30 minutes. Each slot shows how many kayaks of each type are left.

Days that are closed are not offered in the calendar. The season and closed days are set by the operator.

3. Build the booking

In the form you specify how many kayaks of each kind you need (single, two- or three-seaters). The price is calculated from the day of the week and the season. You can add extra services and, if the operator provides transport, pick a pick-up or drop-off point on the map — the distance and price are recalculated straight away.

Some routes have a minimum number of people. Until you reach it, the form cannot be submitted.

4. Pay

After submitting the form you enter your contact details and move on to the NeoPay window. When the payment succeeds, the reservation becomes confirmed. More in Payment.

5. After booking

You will receive a confirmation by email. Your reservations are in your account if you were signed in when booking, or if you later created an account with the same email address. If your plans change, see Cancellation and refunds.

Example

A family of four paddles two two-seaters on a Saturday in season. In the operator’s price list a two-seater costs €35 per person that day.

The amount you see in the form before moving on to NeoPay is the amount that will be charged. If the price or the number of available places changed in the meantime, you will need to submit the form again.
