Inventory and routes
What an operator can change in the dashboard — kayaks, add-on services, routes, opening hours and the season.
On this page
Once you have claimed your page, you manage everything in the operator dashboard. Changes appear on the public page immediately. Pricing is covered separately — see Prices.
Contacts and description
In settings you change the name, phone numbers, email address, website, social media links, logo and description.
The email address is shown in the catalogue only if you mark it as public. Otherwise it stays visible to us alone — so that we can contact you and so that you can claim the page.
You can list several phone numbers. The first one in the list is treated as the primary one.
Inventory
You describe kayaks by seat count and quantity, for example: 8 two-seaters, 2 single-seaters, 1 three-seater. What you enter here is what the traveller sees in the booking form, and it is what availability in the calendar is calculated from.
You price add-on services per unit or per person. A buoyancy aid, a tent, kayak transport — each line has its own pricing model.
If every two-seater is already booked for that day, the traveller will not be able to select one in the form, even if single-seaters are still left.
Routes
Every route has a name, a description, photos, start and finish points and a duration. Only published routes are shown in the public catalogue: while a route is a draft, travellers cannot see or book it.
Opening hours and the season
Opening hours, season boundaries and closed days drive the calendar. A day you are closed is not offered for booking. Season boundaries and closed days are managed in separate dashboard sections.
For example: if the season ends on 31 August, a traveller will no longer see 1 September in the calendar, even if you still have inventory.
What we maintain
You do not edit river descriptions or the shared maps — we maintain those. Your part is the operator page, the inventory, the price list and the routes.
