Your account

How an operator creates an upemis.lt account, verifies email addresses, and why claiming a page needs a matching address.

On this page

An account is required to claim a catalogue page and to use the operator dashboard. Register with an email address you control; claiming uses a verified address that matches the contact email on the listing.

Registration

In the registration form you enter an email address and a password and accept the terms and conditions and the privacy policy. You can also choose whether to receive our newsletter.

Once registered, you are signed in straight away and taken to your account.

Signing in with Google

You can also sign in through Google. If an account already exists with the same address, we link it; if there is no such account, we create one. We only accept addresses Google has verified.

Once signed in, you can link Google to an account you already have. Google can only be unlinked if the account already has a password — otherwise there would be no way left to sign in.

Signing in with a password

On the sign-in page you enter your email address and password. If the account was created only through Google and has no password, signing in this way will not work — use Google or set a password.

Verifying an email address

Claiming an operator page and some notifications require a verified address. You add an address in settings, we send a link, and you click it. The link works once.

One account can hold up to five addresses. This is useful when you sign in with a personal address while the company page shows a different one — add the company address and verify it. More in How to claim your page.

Password

You change your password in account settings. If you have forgotten it, use the recovery link on the sign-in page. We only send the email if such an account exists, but the screen always shows the same message.
