Reservations for operators

How an operator sees bookings in the dashboard, what the statuses mean, how to cancel, and what to do about damage or a complaint.

On this page

If you accept reservations through upemis.lt, you will find every booking in the reservations section of the operator dashboard.

What you see

The list shows the date, the route, the kayaks, the amount and the status. Opening a reservation shows the traveller’s contact details, so you can reach them about the meeting point or other arrangements.

The statuses you will see most often:

Status What it means What to do
Awaiting payment The form was submitted, but the money has not arrived Wait. If the traveller does not complete the payment, the reservation is cancelled automatically
Reserved Paid and confirmed Get ready for that day
Completed The trip has taken place After 48 hours the funds enter the payout queue
Cancelled Cancelled by the traveller, by you, or by the system No platform fee applies

The dashboard summary shows the total amount travellers paid (gross). What you will receive in your account after the platform fee is shown in Payouts.

Add a reservation taken by phone or in person

If you took the booking outside the catalogue, record it on your phone: Add reservation. Date, route, kayaks. After you save, that day is reduced or closed on the catalogue. The fuller form is /nuomotojas/rezervacijos/prideti/detali.

Cancellation

You can cancel a reservation at any time. The traveller receives a notification and is refunded in full, and no platform fee applies to you for that reservation.

Travellers themselves can cancel while more than 3 days remain before the trip starts. In that case they are also refunded in full. More in Cancellation and refunds.

Damage to inventory

If a kayak is damaged or lost, you settle it with the traveller directly. upemis.lt does not assess damage and does not hold a payout because of it, unless the traveller files a complaint about the service itself.

Complaints

If a traveller complains that the service was not provided, funds are not transferred to you until the complaint has been resolved. If you need an explanation, write to rimgaudas@upemis.lt.
