Team and roles

How an organizer grants the manager, photographer and arbiter roles — and why this manual never calls the manager role a bare "Vadovas".

On this page

/organizatorius/renginiai/{slug}/komanda is the team page. You grant access by email to an existing upemis.lt account. The three roles you can grant are manager, photographer and arbiter.

The manager role

The manager role is labelled Vadovas in the Lithuanian portal. In this organizer manual it is always the organizer-manager role (organizatoriaus vadovas), never a bare “Vadovas” — that word is also the name of this documentation hub.

A manager can run the event: editions, content, participants, pricing, mail, the ledger. Grant this the way you would grant an assistant organizer, not a marshal.

Photographer

The photographer role (Fotografas) is for the edition gallery. When that person opens the edition they land on the gallery, not on participants. They do not get payout settings or the ledger.

Arbiter

The arbiter role (Teisėjas) is for race day on sport events: the start list and results. Opening the edition lands them on results. The role cannot be granted on a tourist event; it is not offered there.

Granting and removing access

On the team page you enter the person’s email, pick the role, and save. The account must already exist. Removing a grant takes that role off this event only; it does not delete their upemis.lt account.

People with only a limited role still pass the portal gate (they can open /organizatorius) but they do not see owner-only screens. Payout settings return not found for them.
